It takes one-on-one experience to understand the needs of the racecar driver/owner. Such is the case with the new TCI® Clean Neutral Transbrake Valve Body that was designed by racers for racers. This innovative component provides a second neutral in the shift pattern after high gear allowing the racer to make another shift to “clean neutral” after crossing the finish line. This “clean neutral” disengages the forward clutch allowing the engine to coast down to an idle without the high gear drum accelerating to 2.5 times engine rpm which can lead to a catastrophic explosion. The 2nd and high gear clutches remain applied and rotate at driveshaft speed. The TCI® Clean Neutral Transbrake Valve Body is a direct replacement for our standard TH400 transbrake valve body.
